ZTools
ZTools is a collection of parametric modeling and analysis tools for architects and designers working in Rhino 8 for Windows: stairs, railings, windows and doors, roofs, curtain walls, sections, dimensions, site context, daylight, shadow and view analysis, block and level management, and small utilities.
It is a pre-release and free to use, including for commercial projects.
Install
- In Rhino 8, run
_PackageManager. - Tick Include pre-releases at the bottom of the Package Manager window.
- Search for
ztools, install it, and restart Rhino. - Run
zToolsto show the toolbar, or type any command.
Requires Rhino 8 for Windows, version 8.21.25188.17001 (Service Release 21) or newer. If ztools does not appear in the Package Manager, update Rhino to the latest Service Release first. Mac is not supported yet.
